Kubernetes for Production
From YAML basics to multi-cluster GitOps. Covers cluster networking, security, autoscaling, and ArgoCD.
What You'll Learn
A deep-dive into running Kubernetes in production: cluster architecture, networking (CNI with Calico/Cilium), storage (CSI drivers), security (RBAC, PodSecurity, NetworkPolicies), autoscaling (HPA/VPA/Karpenter), and full GitOps workflows with ArgoCD. Includes a capstone project building a complete production platform from scratch.
Hands-On Projects Included (3)
Production EKS Cluster with Terraform
Provision a production-grade EKS cluster using Terraform modules — including VPC, node groups with Karpenter autoscaling, and IAM IRSA roles.
GitOps Platform with ArgoCD
Bootstrap a Kubernetes cluster using the ArgoCD App-of-Apps pattern, deploying all platform components (ingress, cert-manager, monitoring) declaratively.
Full Observability Stack
Deploy Prometheus Operator, Grafana dashboards, and Jaeger tracing. Set up alerting rules and PagerDuty integration for a microservices application.
